Meet our 5 Hearing Heroes

RAYOVAC®’s ‘Life Without Limits’ campaign is backed by 5 hearing aid users, our hearing heroes. Bethan, Danny, Alfie, Jake and Karen are all from different walks of life, but they all have one thing in common. And that’s their approach to living Life Without Limits, powered by their hearing aids.

Washington Deaf Football Club - Alfie and Jake

“My journey with hearing loss and football has been the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”

Footballers, Jake Rowan and Alfie Atkinson will have the world at their feet this year when they travel to Greece to play in the Deaf Football Championships League taking on teams from across the globe.

Karen Bell

“People take their hearing for granted because it’s always there.”

Find out how hearing aids and hearing dog Vimmie have helped communications officer Karen Bell to lead a very full life and why she believes it’s so important for us to get our hearing checked regularly.

Bethan Lishman

“I’m not disabled because my disability has enabled me to compete all over the world and meet amazing people.”

Deaflympics GB Hammer thrower and seasoned sporting icon, Bethan Lishman shares her experience of hearing loss and how it has helped shape her career as an athlete.

Danny Murphy

“I can’t really function without my hearing aids so to have a battery that provides cover for up to 2 weeks really helps me just get on with my daily activities.”

Actor Danny Murphy talks about his hearing, his plans for the future and what the power to hear more means to him.

Nine out of 10 hearing aid users in our Big Hearing Survey said that they would recommend hearing aids to friends and family.
